I am not surprised by question. I was told women don’t play clarinet in orchestras. I was taught well, but not provided opportunities as guys were. Much more difficult to accomplish career when the men had been offered “experience” at same points I was not. And this still exists.

I think I’ve gone through the most reeds out of all of our clarinets in my band class, to the point where I have a whole box in my locker and at least two in my case (not counting my rotating ones) mainly because I either jack it up while putting my ligature or I get mad and end up snapping it.

The solos sounds pretty good, but taking into account how Artie and Benny played, maybe try making the articulations softer! Just think that you can't be harsh to the Reed!
